El Taller de Danzas MARIA REICHE NANASCA was founded in 12 DECEMBER 1980, is a cultural non-profit, officially recognized by the National Institute of Culture - INC, and registered in the Public Records of Nasca, which aims to teach, investigate, publicize, encourage and stimulate our children and youth in particular, the practice of our folklore in all its expressions, dance, music, clothing, etc..
MARIA REICHE NANASCA has a special significance, since contains the names of Dr. Maria Reiche world for their achievements, studying the enigmatic Nasca lines and NANASCA by the old name that had our province, so we studied our folklore and we call our afronasqueñas dances, dances plotting our reality very different from some of our neighbors and also by ancestral dances of all our beloved Peru, which consists of a melting pot of races and cultures, by their very diversity that enrich our folklore.
Our TALLER is a civil association which is governed by a statute and is a big family where there are many thoughts as individuals comprising it, but that is only an ideal, enlarge and strengthen our institutional life on the basis of a sound and transparent organization, which will benefit our country's culture.

In 1980 we created the taller de danzas Maria Reiche by the international fame of de doctor. Maria Reiche Newmann, we begin with festejo dance, after to incorporate coast, Andean and Jungle folklore. With Festejo, we had very satisfactions winning different concourses of folklore then, we studying our history, we created our own dances called AFRONASQUEÑAS DANCES, today. Since 2004 we have adds Music and theatre to our Association, we also have to radio, program called “dances, songs and humour” and TV program called “In the scenary”,with Music unplugged and musical groups of different class giving opportunity to new artist. Now, The Taller de Danzas Maria Reiche Nanasca does shows of the different folklore of Peru and musical groups of different class of music with grateful musicians,
